The Texas State BobcatCard is for student, faculty, and staff use at Texas State University. These photo ID cards are used for privileged authorization, library use, meal plans, door access, and optional purchasing and banking functions on and off campus.

BobcatCard Issuance Policy: Important! Please read the card issuance policy and the FAQ prior to obtaining your BobcatCard.
Please note: You are required to show a valid (not expired) picture ID (driver’s license, passport, or military ID) to obtain a first time BobcatCard as a current semester paid student, current faculty or staff member, or Texas State Affiliate.

Fall Meal Plan Portal Open!

The Meal Plan Portal for Fall 2024 is open for Resident On-Campus meal plan selection. You can view, add, change, and drop (if you are not required to have one as part of a housing contract) your University Meal Plan all from one convenient location.

Make a deposit to your Bobcat Buck$ account online:   

  • Login to the GET desktop site with your University NetID and password   
  • Add money with a card online, or set up recurring deposits  
  • Use the free GET app to manage your account
