Lost or Stolen BobcatCard
Important Info about your BobcatCard
Keep your BobcatCard with you at all times. Each card is non-transferable. Keep for two years after attending or separation from University as it will be needed if you return.
Your BobcatCard has embedded technology. To keep it working follow these instructions:
- Keep away from magnets, keyless car remotes, wireless chargers and cell phones
- Do not bend, fold, sit on, or expose to excessive heat, wash/dry, attach stickers
- Do not punch a hole, bit, or dent, or otherwise mutilate
- If a card is damaged, altered or defaced, there will be a replacement charge for each card.
If your BobcatCard is lost or stolen, it must be reported immediately in order to deactivate. It cannot be reactivated and there is a replacement fee. You cannot have two active BobcatCards.
- Contact ID Services at 512-245-7700 to report your card lost or stolen or visit GET website
- Replace at ID Services in San Marcos by visiting LBJ Student Center 2-9.1 during office hours. For those in Round Rock please email idservices@txstate.edu
- There is a replacement charge for each card
- The University is not responsible for any loss or expense resulting from the loss, theft, damage or misuse of cards.
